A sticker design contest to show your skills!
We are pleased to be partnering with local sticker printer NM Sticker Co. for this great project! Three (3) winning artists will each be awarded a $150 stipend and see their designs made into real stickers!!
For 4 weeks, from Tuesday, August 1, 2023 to Friday, September 1, 2023, artists can submit designs to be entered into our sticker printing contest!
You, and the rest of our amazing audience, will vote on the (juried) entries to decide on three (3) winning designs! We will printing them on stickers which will be sold at ArtWalk Santa Fe events. The earnings from those sales will directly benefit ArtWalk Santa Fe’s ability to continue to provide free vending and networking opportunities for up-and-coming artists in New Mexico!

Art that doesn’t meet the required parameters will be disqualified from the contest.
**** THE RULES ****
DESIGN BRIEF:
The art can be anything, using any medium, in any style. It MUST INCLUDE “ArtWalk Santa Fe” in writing somewhere, visibly & legibly incorporated into the piece.
You are welcome to repurpose a finished piece of art or make a new piece of art, but either way it must meet the above and below specifications.
The winning designs will be converted to stickers, which may require moderate adjustment to the final visual appearance of the artwork, particularly if it is being converted from another medium (such as a painting) – that’s part of the creative process!

SIZE REQUIREMENTS:
Sticker design must fit within a 10″ wide x 12″ wide area (but it does not necessarily have to be rectangular in shape, there is an option to “die-cut” stickers) and be submitted digitally at greater than 300 dpi. Please upload a PDF, PNG, PSD, or AI file.
TIMELINE:
- The contest runs from Tuesday, August 1 – Friday, September 1, 2023 (4 weeks)
- ArtWalk Team will jury submissions to nine (9) finalists
- Public voting will take place from Monday, September 4 – Friday, September 8, 2023
- Three (3) winners will be announced on Monday, September 11, 2023
- Winning designs will be launched at Oktoberfiesta ArtWalk @ Santa Fe Brewing Company HQ on September 30, 2023
Deadline to submit your design is Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:59pm.
FOR THE WINNERS:
- $150 stipend for each of the three (3) winning artists
- Exposure at all ArtWalk Santa Fe events, on our website, and across our social media platforms
